Okmulgee Precautionary boil order

The City of Okmulgee is issuing a precautionary boil order due to an interruption to the chlorine disinfection process. Other processes were not compromised. Repairs were completed around midnight, and all plant processes are again functioning normally. However, water has made it into the system that has not been suitably exposed to chlorination.

City staff will be flushing and testing for residual on 4/3/2026, and once confirmation of safe drinking water,  the advisory will be lifted. You can check okmulgeeonline.com for more information.
